How to Perform Impersonation while connecting to a data source in Bold BI for MS SQL and SSAS Connections

Impersonation in Bold BI allows users to connect to data sources such as Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services using their own credentials. This ensures that the data source is accessed with the appropriate permissions for each user.

Pre-requisites

Before performing impersonation, you need to:

1. Configure the Active Directory (AD) settings in Bold BI. Follow the instructions in the Active Directory Configuration guide.

Performing Impersonation
