Importing Users with Group Assignment in Bold BI

When importing users into Bold BI from a CSV file, you have the option to include a column named GroupName. This feature allows for efficient organization of users into specific group during the import process.

Steps to Import Users with Group Assignment

  2. Prepare Your CSV File: Ensure your CSV file includes a column labeled GroupName. This column should contain the name of the group to which each user should be assigned.

  3. Import Process:
    • During the import, users are added from the CSV template.
    • Bold BI checks the GroupName provided for each user.
    • If the specified group already exists in Bold BI, the user will be added to that group.
    • If the group does not exist at the time of import, Bold BI will automatically create a new group with the specified name and assign the user to it.
