How can I import bulk users from a CSV file into Bold BI

Users can use the CSV user import feature to automate the process of importing a large number of users into Bold BI. Follow the steps below to download the CSV template file, add the users to it, and then import the users from the file.

Steps to Import Users from CSV

1. Go to the “Users” listing page. Click on the “New User” drop-down and select “Import from CSV”.
   
   
2. Click on the “Download Template” link. Once the template is downloaded, fill in user details in the CSV template.
   
   
   
   Based on your Account Activation Mode configuration on your site, your template may be as follows:
   • For “Account Activation Mode” set to “Automatic” and “User Email” set to “Not Required”
     
     
   • For “Account Activation Mode” set to “Automatic” and “User Email” set to “Required”
     
     
   • For “Account Activation Mode” set to “Email” and “User Email” set to “Required”
     
     
3. “Browse” for the CSV template and “Upload” it.
   
   
4. Click on the “Import Users” button. A job will be initiated in the background and users will get imported into your site,
   
   
   
   A confirmation dialog will appear as shown in the figure below. Users can check the import status by clicking on the “View Status” button in the confirmation dialog.
