How to import and synchronize users from a database

This article will guide you through the process of importing users from a database and synchronizing their profile changes to Bold BI.

How to import users from DB

1. To begin, you’ll need to configure the database settings for user import. This can be done by following the instructions provided in this link, and currently we have support for importing users from SQL and PostgreSQL servers.
2. Next, you’ll need to import the users from the above configured database. This can be done by following the instructions in this link.

How to synchronize users imported from DB

There are two ways to synchronize the user changes into Bold BI,

1. Manual Synchronization
2. Auto Synchronization

Manual Synchronization

Once the users are imported from the above-configured DB, you can manually synchronize changes of the users in Bold BI. This can be done by following the instructions provided in the link.

Auto Synchronization

Bold BI also allows you to auto-sync user profile changes periodically using a schedule. For more details on how to set up this feature, please refer to the link.
