How to connect MongoDB Atlas server with Bold BI

MongoDB Atlas is a cloud-based database service provided by MongoDB Inc. It is a fully managed and highly scalable database-as-a-service platform that allows businesses to easily deploy, manage, and scale their MongoDB databases on the cloud.

Follow the given steps to connect your MongoDB Atlas server with Bold BI:
  1. Log in to the MongoDB Atlas server then click the mycluster option as shown:

  1. Select the cluster you need to connect to from the Bold BI as shown:

  1. Copy the server's name from the MongoDB atlas by following the image given below and paste it under the Server name in the Bold BI MongoDB data source connection window.

  1. Copy the Port number from the MongoDB atlas by following the image given below and paste it under Port in the Bold BI MongoDB data source connection window.

  1. If you have SCRAM authentication set up and SSL enabled, then provide the corresponding username and password. The Atlas server's setting for SSL is enabled, by default. Hence, the Enable SSL checkbox in the Bold BI MongoDB data source connection window needs to be enabled. Once the database and collections have been loaded from your MongoDB server, click on the Connect option.
