How do I handle the naming of dashboards while publishing them from one server to another server?

You can publish dashboards and data sources from one server to another server (internal or external sites) destination site either with the same name or a different name (auto-generated with the combination of dashboard/data source name and timestamp).

Publishing dashboard with different name

To publish the dashboard with the new auto-generated name, uncheck the Use source dashboard and data source name checkbox in the Publish Dashboard to Other Sites dialog and click Submit.

Publishing dashboard with same name

To publish the dashboard with the current name, select the Use source dashboard and data source name checkbox in the Publish Dashboard to Other Sites dialog and click Submit.
