How to Create Combo Charts With Stacked Columns

Combo charts are a great way to visualize data with multiple chart types in a single visualization. In this article, you will be guided through creating a combo chart with stacked columns in BoldBI.

Follow these steps to create a combo chart with stacked columns:

Step 1: Add a Combo Chart Widget

Drag and drop a combo chart widget onto your dashboard and configure the fields you want to visualize in a stacked type into the ‘Value(s)’ category.

Step 2: Configure Secondary Values

Configure the fields you want to visualize in a line type into the ‘Secondary Value(s)’ category.

Step 3: Access Chart Type and Axis Settings

Go to the Properties Section and click Chart Type and Axis under the Basic Settings category. A dialog will open as follows.

Step 4: Select Chart Type

Select the chart type from the Chart Type dropdown that you want.

Step 5: Apply Changes

Click ‘OK.’ The combo chart widget will be rendered with stacked columns as follows.
