How to Add a CustomHeatMap Custom Widget in Bold BI

This article will guide you through the process of adding a CustomHeatMap custom widget to your Bold BI application. Follow these steps to publish and use the custom widget in your application.

Steps to Publish CustomHeatMap Custom Widget

  1. Download the custom widget: Obtain the CustomHeatMap custom widget file from the source or attachment provided.

  2. Publish the custom widget: Use the help link to guide you through the process of publishing the custom widget to your Bold BI application.

  3. Find the CustomHeatMap widget: Navigate to the Miscellaneous section of the designer panel in your Bold BI application. The CustomHeatMap custom widget should be available there, as shown in the image below.

  1. Drag and drop the widget: ​To use the CustomHeatMap custom widget, drag and drop it onto your dashboard and bind the data, as shown in the image below.

    We have provided the support to apply custom colors to the cells based on the input like(1*6, 1*7,...). We have to provide the input in the below format. {"1*6":"yellow","1*7":"yellow","2*6":"orange"}. The widget will be rendered as shown.Data binding sample imageBind Data to the CustomHeatMap
Note: ​Custom widget publishing through the UI is supported only in the Bold BI on-premises build.
