How to apply hierarchy filters in Bold BI

Hierarchy filters can be applied in Bold BI to filter data based on a specific hierarchy, such as Corporate user -> Manager -> Team member. This can be achieved using the combo box filter for each hierarchy level.

Using Combo Box Filters

1. Add a combo box filter for each hierarchy level.
2. Configure the combo box filters to be automatically considered as a slave for the parent combo box.
   Consider you have hierarchy of Products -> Managers -> Leads. In below gif image, we have configured like
   • Products combo box will filters the Managers, Leads combo boxes and Engineer details Grid widget.
   • The Mangers combo box will filers the Leads combo box and Engineer details Grid widget.
   • The Leads combo box will filters the Engineer details Grid widget
     
     
3. Then apply filter in view mode. For visual demonstration, refer the below gif image.
