How to resolve application and database version mismatch problems following the upgrade process

The version mismatch occurs when the SQL script used to upgrade the database contains any errors, such as a failure in establishing a database connection, while running in the Bold BI Embedded Analytics Server.



Follow these steps to resolve this mismatch:

Step 1: Restart Bold BI Server

Restarting the Bold BI server will rerun the SQL scripts necessary for the build upgrade process, resulting in an update to the database version once those scripts run without any errors.

Step 2: Check the Version Details Again

After restarting the Bold BI application, verify whether the Application and Database versions now match.


If the issue persists, consider contacting Bold BI support for further assistance with the logs available at the location below by zipping all the files of the directory upgrade_logs,

{deployment_location}\app_data\bi\{tenant-id}\upgrade_logs
