How to get the data source refreshed at equal intervals of time

In Bold BI, you may want to refresh the data sources on a hourly, weekly, monthly, or other recurring period with the latest updates. This can be achieved by configuring the refresh settings for the data source.
Note: Only the data source created with extract mode will have this Refresh Settings option.
Follow the given steps to configure the refresh settings for a data source:
- Navigate to the Data Sources page.
Click on the option menu button near the corresponding data source and select the Refresh Settings option.

Select the recurrence type, recurrence, start, and end dates in the Refresh Settings dialog box and then click on the Schedule option.

- Data refresh can be scheduled hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly.
- The minimum data refresh interval time will be 5 minutes.
- Application Time Zone is displayed in the date picker. The start time of the schedule is converted to the client time zone and shown on the right side for the user’s convenience, after clicking the Schedule option.
- Data refresh failure notification can be sent to the owner of the data source with the error message and a link to the data source refresh history by enabling the send failure notification to owner option in the bottom.
- Bold BI application deactivates the data refresh, after 5 consecutive failures and send the disable notification to the owner through mail if email settings configured. You can again enable the refresh, by enabling the Enabled option.
- You can force refresh the data at any time by using the Refresh Data option shown below.

- You can also get the refresh history by clicking the Refresh History option as shown:

If any refresh gets failed, you can find the failure reason in this Refresh History window by clicking on the Failed text as shown:Refresh History window in Bold BI application
