How to Show or Hide Sample Data Sources in Bold BI Dashboard Designer.

Starting with Bold BI v16.1, administrators can control whether the Sample Data Sources section appears in the Dashboard Designer. This is useful in production environments where users should only access approved organizational data sources.
This article explains how to show or hide the Sample Data Sources section by updating the UMS configuration.

Steps to Show or Hide the Sample Data Sources Section

1. Open the Manage Sites Page

Sign in to the Bold BI server with an administrator account.
Click the Profile icon in the upper-right corner.
Select Manage Sites from the drop-down menu.

2. Access the Configuration Settings

In the Manage Sites page, click the Settings icon in the left navigation pane.
Select Configuration.
On the Configuration page, choose config.json from the file drop-down list.

3. Update the Configuration Property

Set the HideSampleDataSources property in the configuration as shown below:
