How to Hide or Show the Get Embed Code Option for Widgets in Bold BI

Control whether users can copy widget embed code by enabling or disabling the Get Embed Code option in Bold BI site administration settings.

Configuration Steps

Step 1: Log in to the Bold BI Server

• Log in to Bold BI using an Admin account.

Step 2: Navigate to Dashboard Settings

• Click the Settings icon in the left navigation pane.
  
  
• In the site settings page, select Dashboards from the menu.
  
  

Step 3: Locate the “Get Embed Code” Setting

• In Dashboard Settings page, scroll to the Embed Settings section.

• Find the option labeled Get Embed Code for Widgets.

• Check the box to Enable it. To Disable it, uncheck the box
  

  

• Click Save and refresh the page to apply the changes.

Result

• The Get Embed Code option will no longer appear for any widget.
• This change is applied globally across the site.
• Users will not be able to generate embed codes for widgets from dashboards.

Important Notes

• This is a site-level setting, so it affects all users and dashboards.
• Existing embed codes will no longer be accessible once the option is disabled.
• This setting does not affect dashboard viewing permissions.
