How to Create Clickable Links in the Text Widget

The Text widget in Bold BI allows you to add hyperlinks that navigate users to external pages or dashboards. This guide explains how to insert and configure clickable links within the Text widget.

Steps to Add a Clickable Link

1. Drag and Drop the Text Widget

   • Add the Text widget to your dashboard layout.

2. Enable Editing Mode

   • By default, the Text widget opens in read-only mode.

   • Click the edit icon to start editing the widget content.
     
     

3. Insert a Hyperlink

   • Click the down arrow icon in the toolbar.
     
     

   • Select the Insert Hyperlink option.
     

4. Configure the Link in the Insert Link Dialog

   • Web Address: Enter the URL you want users to navigate to.

   • Display Text: Type the text that will appear as a clickable link.
     
     

5. Save Your Changes

   • Click the tick icon to apply the link and exit the editor.
     
     

Once the changes are saved, clicking the text will navigate users to the specified URL.
