Bold BI Free Tier Environment Limitations

The Bold BI Free Tier environment (cloud.boldbi.com) is designed for initial evaluation purposes and comes with certain limitations. Below are the details regarding the features that are not available or partially supported in this environment.

Features Not Available

The following features are not accessible in the Bold BI FreeTier environment:

• Multi-site: The ability to manage multiple sites is not supported.
• Data Process Settings: Configuration options for data processing are unavailable.
• Authentication Settings: Custom authentication configurations cannot be set.
• Email Settings: Email configuration options are not provided.

Partially Supported Features

Some features are available but with limitations:

• Look and Feel Settings: Basic customization options are available, but full functionality is restricted due to the absence of UMS (User Management System) Settings.
• Site Settings: Similar to Look and Feel Settings, these can be accessed but are not fully functional without UMS Settings.
• User Directives: This feature is limited to Azure AD and Database integrations, and does not support Windows AD.

Recommendation for Full Feature Access

To fully explore all the features of Bold BI, it is recommended to set up a self-hosted deployment. This will provide access to the complete range of functionalities offered by Bold BI.
