How to Enable and Export a Dashboard as PowerPoint in Bold BI

Bold BI® provides a seamless way to export survey analysis data to PowerPoint at both the dashboard and widget levels. You can export your entire dashboard as a PowerPoint presentation in Bold BI® by enabling the export option and following a few simple steps.

Enabling PowerPoint Export

1. Access the Property Panel:

   • Click on the Property Panel Icon.

2. Navigate to Export Settings:

   • Go to the Allow Exporting category under the Properties section in the Property Panel.

3. Enable PowerPoint Option:

   • Enable the PowerPoint export option and publish the changes.
     
     

Exporting Data to PowerPoint from the Dashboard

1. Select Export Option:

   • Click on the Export to PowerPoint option in the drop-down menu located at the right corner of the title section.
     
     

2. Choose Export Type:

   • You can choose to export either the entire dashboard or specific widgets:
     • Dashboard: Exports all widgets within the dashboard onto a single PowerPoint page.
       
       
       
       
       
     • Widgets: Exports each selected widget onto separate pages in the PowerPoint presentation.
       
       
       
       
       

3. Export Specific Widgets:

   • If you want to export specific widgets, select those widgets and choose the export option accordingly.
     
     
     
     
     

4. Set File Name:

   • A pop-up will appear prompting you to enter a preferred file name to replace the default one.
     
     

5. Click Export:

   • After setting the file name, click on Export to generate the PowerPoint presentation with the current view of the selected widgets.
     
     

6. Download Notification:

   • Once the export is complete, a success notification will appear, providing a link to manually download the exported files.
     
     
     
     
     

7. Resetting Export Settings

   • If you wish to restore the default values in the export pop-up, click on the Reset button.
