How to Create a New Site Without "Getting Started Tutorials" in the Bold BI - Windows
When you create a new site in the Bold BI application, you might encounter the category labeled “Getting Started Tutorials” and its associated dashboards.
To establish new sites without including this category and its associated dashboards, follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Open Advanced System Settings
On a Windows system, open the Start menu, search for and select ‘Advanced System Settings.’
Step 2: Open ‘Environment Variables’
After opening the Advanced System Setting page, click on ‘Environment Variables.’
Step 3: Add New Variable
In the section designated for ‘System variables’, click on ‘New’ to introduce a new variable.
- Input the variable name as ‘BOLD_SERVICES_DEPLOY_SAMPLES’.
- Assign it the value ‘false.’
- Confirm the entry by clicking ‘OK.’
Step 4: Restart Your Windows Machine
Following these steps, it is essential to restart your Windows machine to ensure that the changes take effect.
Step 5: Launch the Bold BI Server and Proceed to Create a New Site
Once the system has restarted, launch the Bold BI server and continue with the process of creating a new site and you will not get the “Getting Started tutorials” category and its associated dashboards.
