How to create a Map widget in Bold BI
Published:
The Map widget in Bold BI allows users to display quantitative values using a color scale or bubble scale. This widget is particularly useful for visualizing data geographically. It is located under the Relationship section of the default widgets tab.
Map Types
There are two types of maps available in Bold BI:
1. Choropleth Map
Choropleth maps display quantitative values encoded using a color scale. Different colors or shades represent variations in the data.
2. Bubble Map
Bubble maps showcase quantitative values encoded using bubble size, allowing for a different visual representation of the data.
Changing the Map Type
The map type can be changed between Choropleth and Bubble maps using the Map Type
property found in the Properties tab of the widget.
