Does Bold BI offer a perpetual license model?
Yes, Bold BI offers a perpetual license model for its on-premises edition, providing users with lifetime access to the product through a one-time payment.
Note: Perpetual License model is not applicable for cloud analytics.
What is the duration of support with a perpetual license?
When a perpetual license is purchased, support is provided until the license expiry date. For example, if a license is purchased on August 4, 2021, it will expire on August 3, 2022. During this period, users have access to the build versions released within this billing interval and older versions.
What happens when the license expires?
Once the expiry date is reached, the tenant will be moved to an expired status, and support access will be restricted. Additionally, downloads for builds released after the license expiry date will also be restricted.
Is offline installation supported?
Yes, offline installation is supported.
Do we need to periodically refresh the license file on the servers?
No, the perpetual license provides lifetime access to the product with a one-time payment, and it does not require periodic refreshes.
Will the license be static and always work?
Yes, the license will be static, and the application will always function as intended.
