Issue Description
An error message citing network issues consistently prevents the map widget from loading in Bold BI versions before v7.8. The error message reads: “The map shape file is not loaded due to network problems. To fix this problem, try to reload the page.”
Cause
In Bold BI versions prior to 7.8, there is a known limitation where a script’s download time exceeding 15 seconds could result in a network issue. This static time limit of 15 seconds can cause the map widget to fail to load if the script takes longer to download.
Solution
This issue has been resolved in Bold BI version 7.8 by removing the static time limit of 15 seconds. In the updated version, the map will continue loading until the script finishes downloading, regardless of the time taken.
