How to Add a TreeMap with Gradient Color in Bold BI
Bold BI allows you to add a variety of custom widgets to your dashboard, including a TreeMap with a gradient color. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
Steps to Add TreeMap Custom Widget
-
Download the TreeMap Custom Widget: Start by downloading the TreeMap Custom Widget.
-
Publish the Custom Widget to Bold BI: After downloading the widget, you need to publish it to the Bold BI application. This will make the widget available for use in your dashboards. You can find a detailed guide on how to publish custom widgets here.
-
Locate the Widget in the Designer Panel: After publishing, the TreeMap custom widget will appear under the Miscellaneous section of the designer panel.
- Add the Widget to Your Dashboard: To add the widget to your dashboard, simply drag and drop it from the designer panel onto your dashboard. You can place it anywhere you like.
Step 5: Configure the Data: After adding the widget to your dashboard, you need to configure the data as needed. This will depend on the specific data you want to display in the TreeMap.
Step 6: Render the Widget: Once all these steps are completed, the TreeMap custom widget will render on your dashboard. You can now view your data in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand format.
By following these steps, you can easily add a bar chart custom widget to your Bold BI dashboard. This will not only enhance the visual appeal of your dashboard but also make data analysis more intuitive and effective.
Important Notes
- Ensure that the gradient color option is enabled under the Gradient Color Settings. This option will allow you to adjust the start and end color of the gradient.
- In the label text, you can enter the range of values that the color can be applied to. The format for the label should be as follows: (1K – 5K). If the value is in millions, it should be represented as (22K – 1M).
