Connecting File type data sources over 200 MB

There are certain restrictions on the file-based connectors. In a file-based connector, you can upload files up to a maximum file size of 200 MB. When dealing with large file type data sources that exceed 200 MB, it is important to utilize the appropriate methods to ensure a smooth and efficient connection.

Append multiple files:

• In Bold BI, one effective way to connect to large file data sources is by using the “Append Data Source” option. This feature allows you to append data from multiple files into a single data source, which can be particularly useful when working with large datasets.
• If possible, break down large files into smaller, more manageable chunks before appending them to make the process more efficient.

Amazon S3 or Azure Blob:

• To connect the file through Amazon S3 or Azure Blob, we don’t have any limitation on file size.
• For Amazon S3, we don’t have a direct connector, but it can be connected through the Amazon Athena connector.
