Enable Two-Factor Authentication in Bold BI

Two This article will explain about how to enable the two-factor authentication in the Bold BI Enterprise Server. Enabling 2FA will significantly enhance the security of your account by adding an additional layer of protection.
Enable 2FA for own account
- Go to two factor authentication page under the profile in Bold BI.
{your_domain}/user/security?view=2fa - Then follow the below document and enable the two-factor authentication for the logged in user account,

How to disable two factor authentication of the own account
- Go to two factor authentication page under the profile in Bold BI.

How to disable two factor authentication of the other account with Admin
In some cases, user may not be able to disable their 2FA, in that case with the help of UMS admin user, it can be disabled with the below steps.
- Login into the UMS site with its admin access account
- Go to user listing page.
{your_domain}/ums/administration/user-management/users - Then click on the user to which user you want to disable 2FA,
- Under Security open the Two Factor Authentication tab,
- Now click on Remove Two Factor Authentication link and it will ask for confirmation, clicking on Yes will disable the 2FA for that user,
Reset 2FA with Admin Utility
Refer to the below document on how to reset the two-factor authentication with the admin utility in windows and Linux environment. Using this utility administrators can reset 2FA for their accounts if no other admin is available in the application.
