How to Add a Spline Chart with Gradient Color in Bold BI

Bold BI allows users to enhance their dashboards with a variety of custom widgets, including a spline chart with a gradient color. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to add this feature to your dashboard.

Steps

  1. Download the Spline Chart Custom Widget. This widget is necessary to create the spline chart on your dashboard.

  2. After downloading the widget, you need to publish it to the Bold BI application. This will make the widget available for use in your dashboards. You can find a detailed guide on how to publish custom widgets here.

  3. After publishing, the spline chart custom widget will appear under the Miscellaneous section of the designer panel. This is where you can access all the custom widgets you’ve published.

  1. Drag and drop the widget onto your dashboard. This action will add the spline chart to your dashboard. You can then configure the data as needed to suit your specific requirements.

  1. Once these steps are completed, the spline chart custom widget will render on your dashboard. You can now view your data in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand format.

Note: Remember to enable the gradient color option under the Series Color Settings. This option allows you to adjust the start and end color of the gradient, providing a smooth color transition in your spline chart.
