Published:

Bold BI is a powerful tool that allows users to visualize their data in a variety of ways. One such way is through the creation of charts that display quote conversion rates over different time periods such as Month to Date, Quarter to Date, and Year to Date. This article will guide you through the steps to achieve this.

Steps to Create the Chart
  1. Configure the Chart Widget: The first step is to configure the chart widget. This involves binding the date field to the widget.
  2. Access the Settings: Once the chart widget has been configured, click on the settings icon in the configured field. This will open a drop-down menu.
  3. Select the Relative Date Filter Option: From the drop-down menu, select the "Relative Date Filter" option. This will open the Relative Date filter dialog.
  4. Choose the Time Period: In the Relative Date filter dialog, choose the "Year" option in the Range drop-down. Then, select "Year To Date" in the Period drop-down.
  5. Save Changes: After making these selections, save the changes. The chart widget will now be rendered with the Year To Date filter.

By following these steps, you can create a chart that displays data over different time periods. This can be a powerful tool for analyzing trends and making data-driven decisions.
