Supported Grid Customization Options Retained in Excel Export
Bold BI provided support for the following customization feature retained in the export to Excel file for the grid widget. For more detailed information on grid widget customization, refer to the help documentation. Let’s discuss the features available one by one.
Conditional Formatting
Gradient Based
The grid widget feature enables users to customize a gradient color scheme on the basis of the Maximum and Minimum values within a specified field. Once the gradient formatting is applied, the grid widget will display the selected column with a personalized gradient color scheme. Furthermore, these modifications will be preserved when exporting the data to an Excel file.
Rule Based Condition
The grid widget feature enables users to customize a Rule based color scheme on the basis of the conditions within a specified field. Once the Rule formatting is applied, the grid widget will display the selected column with a personalized Rule based color scheme. Furthermore, these modifications will be preserved when exporting the data to an Excel file. For more information on supported conditions, refer to the help documentation
Header Foreground and Background Color
The grid widget feature enables users to customize a header foreground and background color by changing the colors of the header using the option available in properties panel as Header Settings. Once the Header color is applied, the grid widget will display with customized Header foreground and background color. These modifications will be preserved when exporting the data to an Excel file.
Grid Column Alignment
The grid widget feature enables users to change the column alignment as per their preference by changing the option available in the properties panel as column settings. Once the column alignment is changed, the grid widget will display the grid with customized column alignment. These modifications will be preserved when exporting the data to an Excel file.
Grid KPI Expression
The grid widget feature enables users to add a KPI expression based on the column value actual, target value, result, and value type. Once the KPI expression is added, the grid widget will be customized by adding a new column at the end. Furthermore, these modifications will be preserved when exporting the data to an Excel file.
