What is the difference between the live and extract mode data sources in Bold BI

Live Data Source:

- Live data source is typically used when you need the most up to date at all times.

Extract Data Source:
- In an extract data source, data is first extracted from the original source, transformed into a format suitable for analysis, and then loaded into a the intermediate datastore database.
- The data in the extract source is typically a snapshot of the original data, and it doesn’t change until the next extraction or transformation process occurs.
- Extract data source is commonly used when you want to reduce the load on the source system
- User can see the data source refresh status and refresh history in this page.
