How to view dashboards anonymously without login in Bold BI

Published:

Bold BI allows users to view dashboards without login into the application by making them public. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do this:

Steps to Make a Dashboard Public

  1. Login with an admin user or a user who has permission for the dashboard settings page on the tenant site.

  2. Go to the Dashboard Settings page: {your_domain}/bi/site/{site_identifier}/administration/dashboard-settings

  3. On this page, look for the “Mark dashboards as public” checkbox, enable it, and Save the settings.

  4. Next, go to the dashboard listing page and select the “Make Public” option from the context menu to make the specific dashboard public.

Bold BI provides additional options to control which websites, IP addresses, and applications can access or embed the dashboard. This is done through the Dashboard Security option for specific dashboard.

For more information on Security options, please refer to the Advanced Dashboard Security help document.
