This article will guide you through the process of changing the binding for Bold BI in Windows, using a domain name with an SSL certificate.

Map the IP address of your Windows machine with the required domain name.

Import your .pfx file using the server certificates in IIS.

Go to the Bold BI site and click on Bindings to add the SSL bindings.

Click Add to add new bindings.
 - 
Change the type to https, enter the hostname, select the SSL certificate, and click OK.

If you are using Bold BI with version 12.1.15 and above, go to http://localhost/ums/administration/proxy-settings page in local browser. Change the type to https, enter the domain name, and enable the check box to apply the changes to all sites. Finally, click save.

If you are using Bold BI with lower versions, go to http://localhost/ums/administration page in local browser. Change the type to https, enter the domain name, and enable the check box to apply the changes to all sites. Finally, click save.

Restart the Bold BI site from IIS.
