Connect Excel to Tally Data with Tally ODBC

In Bold BI, currently there is no direct option to connect to the tally data source. We can export the tally data in either an Excel or XML file using Tally ODBC. Afterwards, we can connect the Excel/XML file to Bold BI using the corresponding file connector.

Steps to extract the data from Tally using Excel through Tally ODBC:

1. Open a blank Excel workbook.
2. Navigate to Data -> Get Data -> From other sources -> From Microsoft Query.
3. Choose the Tally ODBC driver.
   
   
4. Add the necessary tables and columns.
5. Click Finish and save the Excel sheet.
6. Open the Excel connector in Bold BI and connect the required sheets to prepare the dashboard.
