Step 1: Creating a Data Source

The first step in creating a dashboard is to establish a data source. This is where your dashboard will pull its data from.

  1. Navigate to the Data Sources tab in your Bold BI account.
  2. Click on the Add Data Source button.
  3. Select the type of data source you want to connect to. This could be a database, a file, or a web service.
  4. Fill in the necessary details such as the server name, database name, username, and password.
