How to Configure Relative Date in Date Picker Widget

The Date Picker widget in your application provides a powerful feature to filter and view data for specific periods. This is achieved by configuring the relative date in the Date Picker widget. The relative date filter allows you to view the current year’s data in all associated widgets of this date picker widget. It also enables you to filter and view data from previous periods using the Custom filtering option.

Steps to Configure Relative Date

  1. Configure the Date Picker widget with the required date column.

  2. Navigate to the properties tab and enable the Range check box.

  3. Switch to the Assign Data tab and click on the highlighted option to open the Relative Date filter window.

  4. In the Relative Date Options pop-up, choose and add ‘Current Year’ or other dates from the drop-downs.

Now, you have successfully configured the relative date in the Date Picker widget. This will allow you to filter and view data relative to the current date, providing a dynamic and flexible approach to data analysis.
