Embedding Bold BI Dashboards in SharePoint

Embedding Bold BI dashboards in SharePoint through HTTPS is a straightforward process. This article will guide you through the necessary steps to accomplish this task.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that the Bold BI application’s domain is set to HTTPS. You can refer to the KB article for instructions on how to change the domain to HTTPS. For more information on changing the domain in different environments, refer here.

Steps to Embed Dashboards

  1. Obtain the dashboard embed code from the Bold BI server.

  2. On your SharePoint page, make sure you’re in Edit mode. If you are not, click Edit at the top right of the page.

  3. If you do not have an Embed web part on your page, hover your mouse above or below an existing web part or under the title region, and click the plus symbol.

  4. Then select the Embed </> web part from the list.

  5. In the property pane on the right, paste the embed code into the embed code box.

Notes: If you do not see the property pane, click the Edit web part on the left of the web part.

  1. After following these steps, the dashboard should render successfully on your SharePoint page.
