How to Publish a Dashboard from one version to another version of Bold BI instance site

When attempting to publish a dashboard or data source to different version of Bold BI instances of Embedded Analytics Server, you may encounter version mismatch message like below. This article explains on how to ignore this version validation during dashboard or data source publish.

Steps to disable version validation in Bold BI

Login with the UMS admin user and navigate to the UMS Settings page,
Example: {your_domain}/ums/administration
Once you're on the UMS Settings page, select the Configuration from the settings menu. Then, choose 'bi/config.xml' from the 'Search your files' drop-down menu.
In the 'bi/config.xml' file, you'll find a node named `CanIgnorePublishResourceValidation`. Set this node to 'true' and save the changes by clicking on Save button.

The values allowed for this boolean type node are ["1", "true", "TRUE"] or ["0", "false", "FALSE"]
After saving the changes, you'll need to restart the Bold BI application to apply the modified changes in the running instances. To restart the Bold BI application, refer to the link.
Once the application has been restarted, try to publish the dashboard between different versions of Bold BI instances. You should now be able to successfully publish the resources.
