Handling Alerts in Code View Mode in Bold BI

Published:

When working with Bold BI, specifically when executing a query in code view mode, users may encounter an alert. This is a standard behavior of the system designed to ensure the integrity of the data and the query being executed.

Upon executing a query in code view mode, an alert will be displayed. This alert serves as a reminder that once the code mode is switched to design mode, it cannot be reverted back unless the query is cleared and the current changes will be discarded.

If an attempt is made to switch back to the design mode without clearing the query, the system will display the alert again, requesting the query to be cleared. This is a safety measure to prevent any potential issues or errors that could arise from switching modes without clearing the query.
