How to Use Custom Date Formats in Dashboard Parameter Window

In Bold BI, the Dashboard Parameter window provides three standard date formats for users to choose from. However, there may be instances where a different date format is required. This article will guide you on how to use a custom date format, such as ‘yyyy-MM-dd’, in the Dashboard Parameter window.

Steps to Use Custom Date Formats

1. Open the Dashboard Parameter window.
2. Locate the Date format field.
3. Instead of choosing one of the three standard date formats, input your desired date format. For example, ‘yyyy-MM-dd’.

Please note that the custom date format you input should be in a valid format. For example, ‘yyyy-MM-dd’ represents a four-digit year, followed by a two-digit month, and a two-digit day.
