Using Year-to-Date Filter in Bold BI

When working with date filters in Bold BI, it’s important to understand the different options available and how they can be used to meet your specific needs. One common requirement is to filter data from the start of the current year to the present date. This can be achieved using the “Year-to-Date” (YTD) filter.

The “Current Year” filter in Bold BI is designed to display data from January to December of the current year. However, if you need to filter data from the start of the year to the current date, the “Year-to-Date” filter is the appropriate choice.

Steps to Apply Year-to-Date (YTD) Filter

  1. Open the “Relative Date Options” dialog.
  2. Select the “Year to Date” filter.
