How to Apply Conditional Formatting to Grid Widget in Bold BI

Conditional formatting can be applied to a Grid widget in Bold BI to highlight cells based on specific conditions, similar to Excel. This can be useful for visualizing data, such as student scores, more effectively.

Follow these steps to apply conditional formatting to a Grid widget:

1. Configure the Grid widget and navigate to the Properties tab.

2. Choose the required column from the Formatting property.

3. Choose the Advanced Setting option and click on the Customize button to open the Conditional Formatting window.
   

   

4. In the pop-up window, choose the Rule option to apply the required condition on the selected column.

5. Add conditions and set the background color as per your requirement. You can add multiple conditions.

   

   After applying the conditional formatting, the Grid widget will render with the specified colors based on the conditions.
