How to create Facebook app and connect it in Bold BI?
This article will guide you through the process of creating a Facebook app and connecting it to Bold BI on-premise.
Step 1: Login to the Facebook Developer Portal
Visit the Facebook developer portal.
Step 2: Create a New Facebook App
If you don’t have a Facebook app, create a new one by clicking the “Create App” button in the right pane.
Step 3: Provide App Name
Enter a name for your app and click the “Create” button.
Step 4: Select Use Case
Navigate to “Use Cases” in the left pane and click the “Create New App” button at the bottom.
Step 5: Choose App Type
Select the “None” app type and click “Next.”
Step 6: Provide App Name
Enter a name for your app and click the “Create App” button at the bottom.
Step 7: Configure Facebook Login
In the next step, configure the Facebook login.
Step 8: Verify Facebook Login
After configuring the Facebook login, ensure that the Facebook login option is available in the right pane.
Step 9: Obtain App ID and App Secret
Go to “Settings” > “Basic” and obtain your App ID and App Secret.
Step 10: Connect Facebook to Bold BI
Save the App ID and App Secret as the Client ID and Client Secret in Bold BI, under
OAuth configuration settings.
Now, Facebook is successfully integrated with BoldBI and can be connected using the Facebook Connector in Bold BI
