How to Sort Data by Latest Date in Bold BI Widgets

In Bold BI, you can sort your data by the latest date using the field-based sorting option. This allows you to display the most recent data at the front of your widget. Follow the steps below to apply date-based descending sorting for your widget:

1. Open the Bold BI dashboard and select the widget you want to sort by date.
2. Click on the Settings icon in the top right corner of the widget.
3. Navigate to the Assign Data panel.
4. Click the settings icon of the column that you want to sort
5. Click the Sort option. This will navigate you to Advanced Sorting Options window
   
   
6. Choose the date field you want to sort by from the Field dropdown menu.
7. Select Descending from the Sort Order dropdown menu to sort the data by the latest date first.
8. Click Apply to save your changes.
   
   
   
   Your widget should now display the data sorted by the latest date at the front.
