How to mention user or group in dashboard comments

To mention user or group in dashboard or widget comments, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the user or group you want to mention have atleast read permission for the dashboard. You can check in the share permission dialog of that particular dashboard as shown in below image.

   

2. If the user or group not having read permission, then you can give expected permission with manage permissions or share for users and groups in Bold BI.
   

3. In the dashboard or widget comment section, type the “@” symbol followed by the user’s first name or group name.

4. As you type, it will suggest the user or group name that have permission for the dashboard like below. Select the desired user or group from the suggestions.

   

5. Users who do not have read permission for the dashboard will not appear in the suggestions as below.
