Manage Multiple Users with Tenant Segregation
Migrating Dashboards
Publish or upload the dashboard from one tenant to another tenant site with dynamic connection string usage, you can visualize the dashboard with the modified connection data.
Refer this link to migrate the dashboard and data source.
Dynamic Connection Strings
If you are using the same dashboard in multiple tenants and only the data source’s data is varying in each tenant with same schema, you can use the Dynamic Connection String option to change the data in view mode.
Refer this link to use dynamic Connection string.
User-Based Filters
- To segregate your data based on the logged-in user, you can use User-Based Filters. This option allows you to display specific data to specific users within a single tenant.
- Refer this link to use user-based Filters.
Column-Based Filters
If you are using the data source with same connection string in multiple tenant site but column-based configuration is done for each site, you can use custom attributes to configure those columns and use them in query mode of data source. Column-based filters can be used to segregate the data based on the users.
